A Florida native, Greg Jones began his career practicing architecture in Colorado and later came to Tampa in 1991. His previous work experience includes the position of managing partner and Director of Architecture at Chancey Design Partnership, where he helped grow the company from four employees to over sixty during his 20 years there. In 2010 Greg founded Jones Architecture to offer innovative solutions to individuals and companies through authentic, enduring design that enhances our community and emphasizes sustainability.
During his career, Greg’s primary focus has always been to provide the highest level of personal client service. He is a strong believer in team building, helping bring together the client, architect, consultants, and contractors to deliver a successful project that’s enjoyable, on time, and within budget.
Greg’s experience includes planning and design for residential and commercial mixed-use projects, urban infill and high-rise multi-family projects. This includes a twin 16 story high-rise condominium in Panama City Beach and an 11 story mixed use project in Tampa’s Channelside district. Greg also enjoys designing custom single family homes and has worked with many of the area’s business leaders and professional athletes.
Having participated in development projects as both architect and partner, Greg is well acquainted with both sides of the coin when it comes to what it takes to first conceive and then lead a great concept through the realities of financing and politics to a successful completion.
Greg lives in south Tampa with his wife Andrea and their three children. He is an elder at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church and supports several community service organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
