This historic Bayshore Boulevard home was originally constructed in 1926. It has been continuously owned by the same family for three generations. An addition and renovation was needed to accommodate the newest generation. As one of the earliest homes to be built on Bayshore Boulevard, our challenge was to augment the existing structure without detracting from its elegance. The program for the addition included a new Kitchen and Breakfast Area, Family Room, Master Suite, a two car Garage, and pool. The renovation of the existing spaces touched every interior surface, refinishing some and updating others. Located in the Hyde Park historic district, we worked closely with the Architectural Review Commission to ensure all work was in keeping with the historic guidelines.
