South Boulevard Office

This project is an extensive renovation of a 1973 two story office building located in the Hyde Park historic district. The clients purchased the building as a new location for their law firm. It had most recently been used as a call center, with a maze of enclosed cubicles at the building’s center ringed by a hallway along the exterior walls. The main entry was at the rear of the building, making way-finding difficult. A new main entry was created to address the primary street façade. The exterior windows were enlarged and interior partitions removed bringing natural light into the building. All new building systems, exterior finishes, insulation and roofing were provided to create an energy efficient, modern office environment.
