Inspired by classic European country houses, this home is a close fusion of familiar forms and modern ideas. Conceived as a home of permanence- in brick and stone, steel and plaster- it has a feel of timelessness. Commissioned by a couple as their primary residence, the owners desired a place comfortable for two but accommodating to gatherings of family and friends.

A linear plan allows all the primary spaces a view of the golf course and shelters an intimate garden along its interior.
